Environmentally friendly buildings are becoming more popular every day as energy prices increase faster than we have ever seen in this country. Building an environmentally friendly home or office building makes a positive environmental contribution to the air we breathe and the water we drink. Structures that reuse material from manufacturing and coal fired energy plants save money in construction materials as well as reducing the waste that goes to garbage dumps around the country.

An environmentally friendly building or structure also conserves energy by reducing the heating that is required during the cold winter months and cooling in the summer months by proper use of glass and insulating material. These buildings are friendly to the environment saving the owner a great deal in energy costs. These structures, particularly the new buildings, are constructed with the latest control systems to balance cooling and heating systems with the needs of the residents of these buildings.

Some of the more complex structures are controlled by computer systems with transducers that monitor every aspect of the buildings complex environment. Air circulation, humidity levels, fresh air intake, alarm systems, sprinkler systems are just a few of the environment systems within a building that must be monitored on a 24 hour basis for some of the larger buildings. Once a new building or structure has stabilized, adjustments must constantly be made as the population changes inside the building and the outside environment also changes. Computer systems are constantly monitoring the outside pressure for example to adjust the flow of air from the building or into the structure. All of this environmental measurement of the structure contributes in a positive way to the environment that we live.
