March 19, 2006 By: Sunny Thaver Home Builder Groups – Help Consumers find HomesMany builders have joined the Builders Homesite Consortium as a means of increasing their exposure to the public who are looking for homes across the country. Home builder groups such as Builders Homesite Consortium and other groups provide a service to the consumer. They assist consumers who may be moving to another city and need to find a builder who will assist them in designing a home or building them a new home. These groups and consortiums provide the builders who belong a great deal of exposure that they might not otherwise receive, bringing in many thousands of dollars in increased house sales. A home builder group provides members with a listing and profile on their web pages and will be displayed if a customer does a search for a particular city in the country looking for builders that meet the criteria that they are interested in. Builders find a great deal of benefit to belonging to such groups even though they may be listed on the same page as one of their competitors. Some builders feel that not being a member of the consortium is really not an option especially if all of their competitors are also listed in the same group. There are other groups as well that operate. The MLS, or multiple listing service will list all homes for sale across the country. Consumers can search this groups listing by city, by price, by number of bedrooms, by garage, condo, beachfront and many more criteria. These house consortiums are supported by the members, who belong to the group and are a significant benefit to many consumers. If you have just been transferred, you can begin to narrow down the search for your new home before you have even left to go to the new job. Also see; home floor plans.About
