September 03, 2003 By: Mark Harris Traditional House Design – Traditional Design CharmingThe Hamilton is a traditional design that includes a charming front porch, colonial crown soffit with canned lighting and custom masonry on the exterior. This two-story home offers 4,637 square feet of space, with six bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. The master suite is located on the main level, which makes the home functional for young families and empty nesters. Visitors will be impressed with the great living areas, including the open family room with its high ceiling and wall of windows and the cozy basement family room. One of the unique features in this home is the home theatre located under the garage. The space under the garage was excavated and spanned with and engineered floor system that allows for a finished room with cement walls, ceiling and floors — making the room virtually soundproof. The home also features a variety of finishes throughout the home. The floors on the main level are ceramic tile, the kitchen countertops are Corian solid surface, and many of the walls feature custom faux finishing. Also see; floor plans for houses.About
